Awards Night – 14 August 2017 at the MTG Century Theatre followed by the after party at East Pier Hotel.
The Restaurant Association of NZ is grateful to the volunteer committee for their hard work and are extremely fortunate that over the last ten years, a number of the original committee members still contribute.
The committee members are made up of a mix of industry people who all bring valuable knowledge and expertise to the table.

Voting Rules & Regulations
Thank you for taking the time to nominate and vote for our Hospitality Superstars in this year’s Hawkes Bay Hospitality Awards.. There are just a few rules in place to make sure everyone has a fair chance.
A reminder that nominations are open to industry members ONLY – you will be asked to specify your workplace and position to verify you are an industry member.
There’s some fancy industry wizardry (with robots and humans) to ensure there’s no funny business with the votes. In addition to that though, there are just a few rules in place to make sure it’s fair to everyone.
- Nominations must be made and received no later than 5.00pm Sunday, 2 July;
- The top four nominees in each category (our ‘finalists’) will be announced on Monday, 10 July;
- Voting opens for these finalists (industry only) from 10.00am Tuesday, 11 July until 5.00pm Sunday, 30 July when voting closes.
- Finalists will be contacted with further details.
You must be a Hawke’s Bay based owner or employee in the hospitality industry to take part in the nomination process. If you are based outside of Hawkes Bay Region you are not permitted to complete a nomination form.
